Prayer Requests

We are in need of lots of prayers this week. Some our with my mom, others are family & friends. Its seems this week has been a rollercoaster and I'm ready for this week to over and next week to be better. Monday My mom was in a car accident with an 18 wheeler. She had God wrapped around her so tightly and thankfully she survived with only severe bruising and pain & nothing broken. She has been recovery at home this week and then last night started vomiting so back to the ER she went. We found out late last night that her intestines/bowel shut down due to the wreck and is clogged up so anything she eats she throws it up. She most likey will be in the hospital until it heals or if it doesnt heal then she might have to have surgery. Please say a prayer for her that she gets better and no surgery is needed. She has had a rough week and any prayers are greatly appreciated. We also need to prayers for a friend of mine's dad who recently found out he has cancer in his neck. Plase pray for him and his family through this difficult time. Last but not least, My cousin is pregnant and her water broke last night but she is 6 weeks early. Please pray for baby and momma for healthy delivery & recovery.
I hope and pray next week will be so much better than this week. We need some good news right about now.

Valentine's Day

Our Valentines day was wonderful. Zach and I decided to go out the weekend before for a v-day dinner. We went to a habachi place and it was so yummy. Avery & I made some valentine cupcakes for us and as usual Avery decorated them like no other. She piles on the sprikles until there is none left. LOL

On Valentine's Day, Avery had her school party in class so we didn't get to join but did send her friends some oh so cute valentines. My friends mom made these delicious cookies and I attached a card with some sweethearts on the back.

I also made her a valentine sandwich for lunch and she LOVED it.. It's the little things that bring a smile to her face :)

After school Leah & I took Ave & Perri to get a special vday cupcake.

Since Zach & I already went out for our vday dinner ,we asked Avery if she wanted to go out to eat or eat at home. She picked chicken parmasean for me to make for dinner becuase she wanted to eat the noodles like Lady & the Tramp.:)

When Avery got home from school, she had a special surprise from Li Li & Pop's with lots of yummy treats and snacks.. such a great idea :) Avery also got some candy & Lady & the Tramp from Dee Dee & Pa Pa..

Catch up

I can't believe its already February. Where did January go?? Ive been slacking on the blog so hope to catch up. We had a date with Aunt Shelly to go see Beauty and the beast and also a lunch date. Avery loves spending time with aunt Shelly.

Avery had Pajama and Teddy Bear day at school. She decided to bring Abigail

a few weeks ago was VERY bittersweet. Our new baby niece Olivia Kate Siegert was born weighing 6. 13 and 19 inches long. We are beyond thilled to welcome another sweet baby girl into the family. She is absolutley beautiful. Congrats to Taylor & Amy..

HOW CUTE IS SHE??

The same day Olivia was born, Dad (Zach's grandpa) went to be with the Lord. We were so happy to have Olivia and then so sad that Dad had passed. It was incredibly hard on Zach. He was such a wonderful guy and loved everyone so much. I will never forget the last time we saw him and he wasn't speaking very much but he did say how proud he was of Avery. It brouht tears to my eyes and I will NEVER forget it.
Rest in Peace Dad.. We love you and will miss you very much!!

My sister also had her birthday this month so we went out to dinner at Saltgrass. Avery told us on the way, seriously mommy I really dont want to eat grass for dinner. ha ha silly girl

 Avery learned how to do a backbend in gymnastics and has been doing it non stop..

Avery got this cd from her teachers for Christmas and loves to sing the songs in the car. She sings this songs every monrning in class. (might wan to turn down the volume because she pretty much yells the songs instead of sings it. lol

 last but not least, we have had almost a whole week of rain so this has been our attire lately :..rainboots
