Girls/Mommies Night Out

Friday night we got a bunch of the girls/mommies together for a much needed night out. I definitely needed to get out and have some time with my girls. Its always nice to talk about your kids and spend time with your girlfriends. I probably really shouldn't have been out in the cold being sick and all but I needed to get out and its VERY hard to get everyone out with all of our busy schedules. I had fun girls. I think we should do this at least once a month. :)

The Siegert household has been SICK. I went to the Dr last Tuesday and got some meds and it actually got worse as the days went on. Then this past weekend our little baby had diarrhea, fever, and threw up. Then the next day her nose started running,coughing and she's not eating very much. As we both got worse I called the doctor back and got us both some meds. So hopefully it will all start getting better from here on out. So where have I been you ask.. laying on the couch trying to sleep when Avery does. (Story of my life these days.) Please say prayers for us that we recover fast. All Avery wants to do is watch "Melmo and "read"(baby can read) as she says. I mean ALL DAY LONG ELMO... We have 10 Elmo dvd's and I have them all memorized. Seriously, I cant take much more of ELMO..lol

I cant believe our sweet little baby is half way to TWO!!!. AHHHHHHH!! It seems like we just had her first birthday. So Happy "Half Birthday" Avery Lee!! Ha Ha (Is there such things as half birthdays?... where there is in Avery's world)

-is talking soooo much these days. I'm not about to write all that she says because I will be here all day. She is a very talkative little girl.

-has been putting her words together for instance "more juice" or "apple please"

-reads kick,eyes,diaper,bubbles,bib,nose,yes,no,arms down,arms up,chimpanzee,blanket,ears,head,clap,clapping,eating,mouth,tiger
,dog,cat,toes,colors,wave,waving,smiling,point,book,zip,giraffe,
monkey,nap,rattle,tongue,keys,hi,baby

-LOVES dancing, jumping,riding horses and reading her books

-Loves to play doctor, Elmo, playing with her babies, and playing with her dollhouse (such a girly-girl)

-Is such a loving little girl. She will randomly come hug momma and then go hug daddy. Its sooo sweet..

-is wearing 18-24 months clothes and still size 4 shoes

-loves to go to the fridge and point out DeeDee, Pa Pa, Li Li, Pops, Shech-she, Kee Kee, and ruff ruff(either Jen or Courtney's dog)She does this about 4 or more times a day..no lie

My Baby Can Read!!!!

Here are a few videos of our little smarty pants reading over the past few days.. She just gets better and better. She will be reading books in only a matter of time.. I just know it... If anyone is wondering.. we bought "YOUR BABY CAN READ" and it truly works. Here is proof. (They are kinda long but sooo worth watching)

BABY.. Its cold outside

The weather in Houston the past few days has been pretty chilly.
Last night it was below freezing so we decided to light the fire to stay warm. It was Avery first fire and all she kept saying was "whoa.... fire....WHHHOOOAAAAA!! It didn't seem to keep her attention long because all she wanted to do is play with her dollhouse. I'm sooo ready for it to be HOT again. I HATE cold weather... Hope everyone has a great weekend and stays warm..

Playdate with Bryson

Today Jen invited us over for a playdate with Bryson. They always have got along great together. (They better since they are suppose to be boyfriend/girlfriend. he he) Avery and Bryson are sooo sweet to one another. Jen made the kids some delicious chocolate chip cookies and Avery even shared her cookie with Bryson. It was sooo sweet. Secretly I think she made them for me knowing I would eat them all and gain 5 lbs. HA HA Just kidding. Anyways we had a great time with them and cant wait for the next playdate. Avery was worn out after all the tickling and hugging she gave to Bryson. They even kissed each other bye bye. How sweet is that?
