A Graduation, a Gash & Our Weekend...

On Thursday Avery & I took a trip to Bryan to watch our niece, Madalyn graduate from Kindergarten. I still can't believe she is going to 1st grade. These kids are just growing up WAY to fast. She was too cute up on stage in her cap & gown. I can't believe this time next year my sweet baby will be graduating from pre-k and going to Kindergarten. WHAT!!! anyways, we were so glad we got to come support her and are so proud of her..

After we got home, I was getting Avery ready for nap and she asked for a drink so I left the room for 5 secs and walked in to a LOUD bang and crying. She was jumping on her bed(like shes not suppose to) and hit her head on her headboard. I looked at her head to see gushin blood all over the place. I freaked out to say the least. We went to the pedi and he said he could glue it with dermabond instead of stiches. I was relieved they could do it. I was so hard to see a huge gash out of her head, so Im thankful for no sitches and hopefully no scaring.She was so brave when they cleaned it and while they glued it. She never full out cried but only shed one single tear down her face. It has been a little tender but no brusing besides the mark from the glue. he hardest part for Avery was she hasn't been able to swim or do much of anything. Im just so relieved that her head is ok and this will be just a memory down the road. after they glued it

Zach's parents also had a family reunion on their house on saturday with swimming and a waterslide. Avery couldnt do much of anything. We pretty much played inside the whole time besides occasionally going outside to see everyone. She was a trooper though. I told her I sorry you cant go swimming and her sweet response was "that's ok mommy, Im still happy".. Such a sweet girl. I just love her so much and I am so glad she is ok. I didn't take many pics because I was keeping her occupied) She did get to hold her baby cousin Olivia for the first time :)

Las day of school

Avery last day was last week. She was sad to leave her friends but sooooo ready for Summer. I just can't believe how fast the school year went.They had their party with chick-fil-a lunch & they each got a summer fun bucket full of goodies. Every year we also recieve a book of pictures with all they did this year. It is the CUTEST ever and love it for the memories. We have had fun so far this summer and can't wait to do more fun things with my princess..

Mother's Day & Baby news

Mother's day was wonderful for us. Eventhought we had to split up the family it was still wonderful. Zach went to his mom's ouse for lunch and I went to spend it with my mom along with my little priness. We went out to lunch for mexican food. yummmm We also went to spend some time with grandma. After that we came home to do my mothers day. Zach got me an external hard drive(because I have used all my space with pictures on my computer) and never think about going to pick one up.He also grilled chicken for me. It was super yummy. I had such a great mothers day. I am so blessed to have such aa amazing daughter who made me a mother. I have learned all I know from my incrediable mother. She is everything to me and has done so muc h for me. I am beyond blessed to have the greatest mother in th world. I am also so grateful to have a great mother in law. She sent me a beautiful arangement of flowers for mothers day. It was a perfect day for me.

As for the baby news, My wonderful friend Jen had her baby Pierce of may9th at 11:22pm weight 6lbs 9oz. He had a rough start because he inhaled some of the amnotic fluid during delivery along with having reflux which made his heart drop a nuber of times. He was in the NICU for almost a week and a half. He is finally home and doing great. We are soo very happy for them and glad Pierce is doing so much better. It was vey hard to hear and w are just glad he is doing so much better. God is GREAT!! (the day he came home.. isnt he precious)

Mayfest 2012-Gymnastics

Last weekend, Avery had Mayfest at her Gymnastics. They showed family & friends all they have learned throughout the year & recieve a medal at the end. She did a fantastic job and we are so very proud of our gymnist :) She showed her stuff to everyone that came to support her and loved having everyone there. She cracks me up because we were all cheering fo her LOUD and she told us not to be so loud. Guess she needed to concentrate lol They also did a little dance in the beginning and she was all over that. My girl LOVES to dance as well as gymnastics.
