Sam's 2nd Birthday

We have been super busy around here. This weekend was filled with birthdays. Part one of birthday celebrations: Our niece Sam turned TWO and had her party on saturday. The kids had fun playing outside, jumping on tampoline, and doing a few games. As always Avery loves playing wth her cousins and had a blast!

what we have been up to...

I have been such a bad blogger lately. I just can't seem to find time to do it but need to catch up now and start keeping up with it. We have been pretty busy but also getting ready for snow.. Last weekend  Two weeks ago (im so behind I had to change it)we had celebrated Zach's brother, Cameron birthday. He turned the big 21. He is finally legal. whohooo for Cameron. Ha

I have to write this down because I want to remember this. Avery has never been fan of cake and ice cream. She has eaten cake one time but that's it. I still can't belive that but its soo true. To our surprise little miss thing was loving the her cake and ice cream this day. I had to take a picture with my phone to document this. We were shocked!! She was loving her chocolate cake and ice cream.

Last week at school Avery came home with this cute project they made. They made a pillow case with all of their friends handprints on it. She just loves it and points out all her friends on it. I thought it was the cutest idea since she loves her class friends so much. Speakng of school... Avery got in to go next year three days a week. I just hope she has some of her same friends in her class next year. I just wish she had the same teachers. Mrs. Erin & Mrs. Kelly are the best teachers and Avery LOVES them so much. If only that were possible, but I know it's not.. tear!!

As for the cold weather, we were expected to get 2-3 inches of snow. We planned to stay inside and stay warm. Avery and I made some Valentines' crafts this week as daddy got the fire all ready for us to stay warm. The first night we lost power 3 times and thought we were going to have to go to Zach's parents house.  It was freezing in our house.  Thankfully it came on at about 11 and we didn;t have to go.I have never been so thankful for electricity in my life. God is Great!

 with all the preparation of snow... NOTHING!! that's right no snow here for us to play in. Just ice. Avery was so bummed but still looked darn cute getting ready for it..:)

As of now, we are waiting for the warm weather again. We miss it so much. Avery has been sick it seems like this whole winter and I hate it. We went to the doctor again yesterday and she has symptoms of asthma... (sigh) I hope for her sake that it passes like the doctor says it would and she will be back to her self.
