Fun with my girl

Last weekend Zach on a fishing trip with Pops fr his birthday so we had a girls night. We have these ALOT during hunting season and Avery LOVES them. I let her pick what she wanted to do. She decided to go "pick up" chick fil a and have a movie night. After dinner we watched her choice, Barbie and the Three Musketeers. :) I love spending a little extra girl time with my princess, but we sure did miss Daddy. We went swimming and waited for Dady to get home. Happy Birthday Pops. We love you!!! Dressing up like Repunzel.. Funny story.. they were having "princess Night at CFA last monday (or so I thought). Avery was super excited to go and when we drove up and realized I had gotten the date wrong. OOPS.. my bad. She chose Ci's Ci's pizza instead.(barf)Avery wanted me to dress up like Repunzel so I agreed to take some pictures with Repunzel hair. That's as good as it gets folks lol.. and just because I think its hilarious, this is how we ride on a daily basis. I have 3 kids now :) Avery, Becca, & Syndney Siegert Photobucket

Summer Ballet & Tap

Avery started a summer ballet & tap a few weeks ago and is loving it. We wanted to try out another place other than her school and she says she loves it, but I think she would love it anywhere she goes. She just LOVES ballet. She is my little ballerina and just loves to dance. Here is a few pictures from her first class. Photobucket

Summer Fun Catch-up

Summer has been alot of fun so far and actually pretty busy. Between, swimming, gymnastics, ballet & tap, and swimming lessons, we are on the go all the time. Avery has inproved so much in swimming this year I forgot to post about it but she got moved up about a month ago. She is a little fishy. She wants to swim all the time and can swim all by herself. (with Award in May) Avery also got moved up a level in gymnastics last week. She was so very proud the be a "green bee" now. It kinda stinks though because this week is her last week on gym til the fall. We are taking a break to enjoy the summer days :) A few weeks ago I went to get my hair done at my Aunts shop and she just got in this color that you put in your hair in streaks. She wanted to try it on Avery and swore it would come out after you wash it. Avery LOVED it. She of course wanted pink. and yes it did wash out.. thank god :) Pickalicious Speaking of Pickalicious, we had Pink pancakes for breakfast one morning and Avery LOVED them. Nothing better than PINK Pancakes :) We are been doing lots of swimming. Either going to the neiborhood pool, swimming in the backyard with ou homemade waterslide or at the in-laws.. I LOVE SUMMER!! Singing in the pool :) Photobucket

A Graduation, a Gash & Our Weekend...

On Thursday Avery & I took a trip to Bryan to watch our niece, Madalyn graduate from Kindergarten. I still can't believe she is going to 1st grade. These kids are just growing up WAY to fast. She was too cute up on stage in her cap & gown. I can't believe this time next year my sweet baby will be graduating from pre-k and going to Kindergarten. WHAT!!! anyways, we were so glad we got to come support her and are so proud of her..

After we got home, I was getting Avery ready for nap and she asked for a drink so I left the room for 5 secs and walked in to a LOUD bang and crying. She was jumping on her bed(like shes not suppose to) and hit her head on her headboard. I looked at her head to see gushin blood all over the place. I freaked out to say the least. We went to the pedi and he said he could glue it with dermabond instead of stiches. I was relieved they could do it. I was so hard to see a huge gash out of her head, so Im thankful for no sitches and hopefully no scaring. She was so brave when they cleaned it and while they glued it. She never full out cried but only shed one single tear down her face. It has been a little tender but no brusing besides the mark from the glue. he hardest part for Avery was she hasn't been able to swim or do much of anything. Im just so relieved that her head is ok and this will be just a memory down the road. after they glued it
all smiles :)
getting better day by day though(sunday night)
Zach's parents also had a family reunion on their house on saturday with swimming and a waterslide. Avery couldnt do much of anything. We pretty much played inside the whole time besides occasionally going outside to see everyone. She was a trooper though. I told her I sorry you cant go swimming and her sweet response was "that's ok mommy, Im still happy".. Such a sweet girl. I just love her so much and I am so glad she is ok. I didn't take many pics because I was keeping her occupied) She did get to hold her baby cousin Olivia for the first time :)
and drive the ranger :)
Our Memorial Day weekend was very low key but we did go for yogurt
