BUSY WEEKEND- Birthdays, Elmo, Potty & Superbowl

This weekend was very busy for us but we had sooo much fun. Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL day so we decided to go to eat at Jason's Deli and then head to the book store to get Avery some books. Let me just say this was my second attempt to go to Barnes and Noble. The first time was by myself and Avery was running around like a wild animal. She LOVES books and was in heaven in there. This time was better since Zach was with us. Even though she probably could have stayed in there all day, we then headed to Zach's parents to celebrate a few birthdays. Zach's brother Taylor and his uncle Rick both have the same birthday so they always celebrate together which means not one but TWO cakes. YUMMMYYY!!

After the Birthday Celebrations we came home and Avery FINALLY went poo poo on the potty. YEAH AVERY!!!What a great Saturday it was..

Sunday I got tickets to go see Sesame Street Live with Elmo. Everyone knows how OBSESSED she is with Elmo so I have been waiting for them to come to town. All in all it was pretty good. Avery just wanted more ELMO rather than everyone on Sesame Street. When she saw Elmo the first time she was soooo excited and saying "MElMO MELMO" but then got disapointed and restless when it wasn't JUST Elmo. So Daddy went and bought her another Elmo stuff animal to calm her until Elmo's world came on. After that she was IN THE ZONE for Elmo's world. The only thing I didn't understand is why on earth would you have an intermission with all the restless kids waiting... can we say STUPID..ha ha. Anyways, Im glad we went and had some family time together just us three.

After Elmo we headed to Zach's parents to watch the Superbowl for a little bit. We had yummy fajitas and I pretty much watched the kids play. I really didnt even watch any of the game because I was occupied playing with Avery and Brayden. Brayden is Jackie's(Morgan's girlfriend)son and they played sooo good together. We left at Halftime to get Avery to bed and watched the rest at home. WAY TO GO SAINTS!!

WHEW!!What a GREAT and busy weekend we had. It was sooo nice to spend quality time with Zach and Avery all weekend long. Sorry for the LONG post but this weekend was a VERY BUSY one..
