Father's Day Weekend!!!

We had a very packed Father's day weekend. Saturday we went to visit Dad(zach's grandpa) and have coffee and brunch with him. It was sooo great to see him. It just really makes me sad but I just love going to see him so Avery can see him more. She had fun with her cousins and was talking about Dad on the way home. I also love seeing Mamie(Zach's grandma) & dad together. They are still sooo in love and I can only hope that Zach and I are the same way one day. Their love for each other is simply AMAZING!!!! Happy Father's day DAD!! We love you!

After our visit with Zach's Grandpa, we met up with Jen & Lisa along with kiddos and Hubby's at Chuck e Cheese. We had a great time just letting the kids run around and play. Avery was super excited to see Keegan & Brycee as she calls him. She loved all the money and tickets she got. Her favorite was driving the "mickey Mouse" car. Anyways we had a BLAST and we glad to have a little playdate that included the men too. They got to chat while we chased around the kids. HA HA... GOOD TIMES!!

Sunday we had Zach's father's day first. We let him sleep in a little and them Avery gave him his present. Avery and I made him a video montage of video's and pictures all the way from when she was born. All the pictures were mostly of him and her and Zach LOVED every minute of it. It made both of us cry seeing Avery growing up again and how fast she has changed. Zach said it was the best gift ever so mission accomplish. LOL I've come to learn that the best gifts to recieve are the ones from the heart that dont have a price tag on them...IT WAS PERFECT!!
After all the emotional gifts, we headed to Zach's parents for hot dogs & hamburgers and fun in the sun. We had a wonderful time but the only thing missing was seeing my dad. My dad is such a wonderful man and I was sad to not get to spend father's day with him. My dad is so genuine that he opted to save us from all the running around in one day and do his Father's day next weekend. So more Father's day is still to come.
