What's been going on at the Siegert house lately??? well alot actually. First of all, we finally converted Avery's crib to a toddler bed. We waited so long due to us being lazy and going to pick it up. I finally decided to make a trip to get it because little monkey over here was climbing into it. She was SO excited when we were going to pick up her big girl bed. She kept asking for daddy to put it together when we got him. She had to wait all day until daddy got home but as well worth the wait. I dont think I have ever seen her soo excited. She was yelling with excitement & going back in forth into her bed. HA HA. Now she tells me when she is ready to go to sleep in her big girl bed. She has done soo well in it. She doesn't even get out when she wakes up in the morning. She still yells for mommy to come get her and she is fine with that. LOL She absolutley LOVES it..

Miss Thing is also brushing her teeth by herself and using big girl toothpaste. She LOVES brushing her teeth. It's sooo hard to stop because she will scream bloody murder and still wants to brush her teeth more. She is doing very well with this and loves to spit in the sink. HA! It's soo cute watching her look in the mirror while she brushes her teeth. She does these faces and poses. It's HILARIOUS!!

Anyways we are soo proud of our little munchkin. She is growing into a little girl soo fast...tear .Next week at this time she will be in Mother's Day Out. Im soo excited for her and can't wait to hear all her stories about how much fun she had at school.
On another note.. we need all the prayers we can get. Thursday afternoon, Zach was working and hurt his back really bad. We went to go swim and when we saw him we could barely walk. This is not like him at all. He had had some back pain since we got married but it was come and go and was nothing he couldn't live with. This time.. NOT A CHANCE!!! He could barely walk and had a sharp pain down his leg. We took him to the doctor friday morning and also got to see Dee Dee & Pa Pa while we were there.
Come to find out he has a slipped disc in his back. Dr. said he was to do nothing for 2 weeks so it could heal. If it doesn't heal then he might have to have back surgery. We DO NOT want that. Please keep Zach in your prayers. He was in ALOT of pain and can't really do anything without my help. The pain has gotten a little better but he is still moving very slow.
Avery is soo sweet helping him with everything. She keeps saying "Daddy's back hurts.. I help you" She wants to help me and him no matter what it is. She always runs in our room to help Zach put on his socks and shoes. She is such a good helper.
She is so happy daddy is home with us instead of working. hehe. She wants to be with him all the time. She keeps trying to go get in bed with him while he is sleeping. :( Poor baby can't get held by daddy for a few weeks but is definately showing that she is there for him.
She LOVES her daddy and will be a great nurse one day.. he he
