We started a new Christmas tradition this year. I heard about the Elf on the Shelf book through a friend. My mom surprised us this weekend with it. I was excited for Avery because it is such a cute tradition. The book is so cute. The elf is a magic Elf that flies back to Santa everynight and reports to him on her behavior. She is a magical Elf that you can talk to but can't touch her because he might lose her magic. Everyday she is in another spot where Avery looks for her. She loves talking and saying 'Hi Keeboo". Tonight she told her" Hi Keeboo, I have been a good girl". I don't know where she got the name Keeboo but it's a very cute name for a Elf..

I just love this time of year. As busy and crazy as it is, it is such a wonderful time of year and more importantly celebrating the birth of Jesus..
This weekend we finally got our tree up and Avery got her very own tree.. She decorated it by herself and loves it.

I've never heard of the Elf on the Shelf but I love the idea!
I heard about Elf on the Shelf last year but had no reason for it....I guess now we do ; )
