sippy cup time

So my plan is it hopefully go straight to sippy cup and not have to deal with bottle. Yesterday I gave Avery some appplesjuice in her sippy cup for the first time and she LOVED it. At first she didnt know what to do so I squeezed a little bit out and she just started drinking it and holding the handles like a big girl. I was so proud of her. YEA!!!

I just had to share these pics. I was going through Avery closet to get out the old clothes that no longer fit her and I found this cute outfit my friend Caroline gave her. Isnt is adorable.. well so we decided to play dress up in it and I sware Avery knew it was leopard cause she was sooooo excited when I put her in it. I think a little animal got in her in this outfit. ha ha. She was crawling like the energizer bunny, laughing at everything and kept kicking her feet like she was bouncing. It was soo funny.. anyways here is my lil party animal..

Dawson turns one!!

Dawson Lee Siegert (our nephew) turned one on February 14(valentines day) and he had his bithday party this weekend at the Aquarium Downtown. Happy Birthday Dawson!!! I cant believe a year has gone by. I was pregnant with Avery when he was born. I was about 4 months preggo...Just think... Avery will be one in no time. Thats crazy...

My two loves..

The two LOVES OF MY LIFE!! I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.I am truly the luckiest girl in the world. Just wanted to throw that out there in case you didnt know. he he.. Avery has ben scooting all over the place and loves to stand up on things now. She is getting so active and she will be crawling in no time. When we look away for one sec she is in a totally different place. This is her scooting all over the house and looking cute while doing it. LOL

Another preggo friend.

I FINALLY get to announce another preggo friend. I have kept my mouth shut for soo long. he he Im so happy for Heather and Michael.. I also added a recent picture of another preggo friend Lauren. This is her at 7 months. man everyone is pregnant now a days. Isnt life GREAT!!

Thought for the day...Lesson Learned

Lets just say that I have learned my lesson about sharing baby names with pregnant friends. watch video and you will understand what happened....LESSON LEARNED!!!! I still love her though.. just a little bitter. LOL

Avery is 7 months today!!

Our little angel is 7 months old today.Man how time flies by. She is getting so big and doing so many new things all the time. As you know she is just scooting around on the floor all the time. The other day I put her standing up against the couch and she is holding herself up now. She even thinks its soo fun to push off and mommy to catch her. She is such a little character. I think she will be a shy girl meeting new people but when she warms up to you she is soo much fun and such a happy girl. She makes the funniest faces when she gets soo excited to see mommy and daddy. She smiles so big kinda like in the picture below. its soo cute. Our baby girl is such a sweet angel and we are soo blessed to have her in our lives.

Our little Valentine!!

Happy Valentines Day!! We had a great love day with our little family. Avery and I made cupcakes and a shirt for Daddy. The handprints didnt turn out as good as I hoped but Zach still LOVED it. (lets just say I know why hospitals dont do handprints. LOL) Saturday Zach came home with two roses for Avery and a dozen long stem roses for me including a massage. (god knows I could use this) I have the BEST hubby in the world and Avery has the BEST daddy in the world. We are VERY lucky girls! Then we went out to eat with our little valentine.
