Labor day weekend

Labor day weekend was full of birthdays and spending time with family. On Saturday we went to celebrate Zachs birthday with my parents. The weekend of his birthday he was hurting really bad and my parents were helping my sister move. By the way I forgot to post about that. My Sister moved to Dallas a few weeks ago and stopped by to say bye to Avery & us before she left. We will miss ya sis. Avery loves her Shelly!

Saturday we met my parents at Red Lobster for a yummy lunch. It was soo good. Avery was super excited to see her Dee Dee & Pa Pa. She hasn't seen them in a while due to busy schedules.

My parents bought all of us presents including Avery. She got some more big girl panties & m&m's. HA HA

  Avery helped daddy open his presents and loved dancing to the musical card. it was one of her favorite dances.. THE CHICKEN DANCE!!

Avery kept herself busy with the sweetn low packets and switching seats from us to Dee Dee & Pa Pa. :)

Avery loved putting on a show for everyone.

 

We had such a great lunch and it was super yummy. I haven't had Red Lobster in soo long.

Before we left Avery wanted to see the Lobsters again. Little did we know that the waitress would take one out for her to see.

Avery was a little timid when she saw those pinchers. HA 

We left with full tummy's and a wonderful time. Thanks mom & dad for a great lunch!!

Sunday we went to sealy to celebrate my dad's birthday with a yummy BBQ lunch. Avery had fun playing with all her toys at Dee Dee & Pa Pa's. She ad a tea party with Dee Dee

and ran around destroying the room like she does at home. HA

Then it was time for birthday cake.. Avery would rather blow out the candles over and over than eat the cake.

 then it was time for presents...Avery wanted to read Pa Pa's card.. HA HA look at that deep concentration face..

After cake and presents, Avery thought it was time to make silly faces for us and put on a show..

 After all the excitement we went and played outside for a little bit. Little miss thing is soo funny with her poses and her expressions. check out this picture.. I mean look at those legs and her telling Dee Dee all about it..HA HA silly girl

 Before we left we decided to pay a visit with Grandma. We havent seen her in a whille and she LOVES when we stop by. Avery was soo sweet and was giving grandma big hugs and kisses..She loves her grandma..

We stayed for a while til Avery was so overtired and crazy. Plus the fact that Zach's back was hurting him. Specking of Zach.. he had a MRI on thursday and we got the results saying that he has a bulging disc. He still has some discomfort but so not as bad as it was. THANK GOD!! I just hope & pray he will get back to normal after physical therapy and not have to have this pain the rest of his life.

Sunday we went to Li Li & Pop's house for lunch too, but I was too busy talking and playing with the kids to remember to take pictures. It was also pouring down rain . I was tring to keep Avery occupied since I had promised her before we left to play outside but when we got there it was raining. BOO!!
We had a GREAT LABOR day wekend full of fun and yummy food.
